OpenAI Says It Would Buy The Google’s Chrome Browser (Source)

Google may be forced to sell its Chrome browser following a U.S. court ruling declaring it a monopoly in online search. The DOJ has suggested a breakup, and OpenAI is already showing interest.

At a recent hearing, OpenAI's Nick Turley confirmed they’d consider buying Chrome, noting it could help create a "true AI-first experience." Currently, ChatGPT is available in Chrome via plugin, but deeper integration could follow if acquired.
